Points

The Tower provides Helensburgh with access a vast array of cultural and training opportunities. We are the home of different cultural and digital groups in the town. All of the training (arts & digital) is provided free of charge. We run subsidised regular screenings for autism, seniors (the largest weekly event for seniors in the town with up to 100 attendee's a session) and new parents. Our toilets are dilapated and we are raising funds to upgrade them in 2018.

As more events take place, toilets of a good standard are essential. This is a great community venue and needs support to improve the facilities.

A fantastic asset for us all. The staff go out of their way to make each visit special and it is so good not to have to travel to see the latest films and live events. To have a local training facility is special also. Yes, the toilet facilities are basic and an upgrade would be very welcome.

Great facility for the town apart from the toilets

😄

I have visited the Tower once and even Jarvis Cocker mentioned the toilets needing an upgrade!

Argyll and Bute TSI will hold a drop in help session on Wednesday (10th January) from 10am-12pm and 1-3pm in the Helensburgh office at 14 Colquhoun Square. If you would like help with the stage 2 application pop in and see us (we will have a cuppa and biscuits on hand too...)

The tower is brilliant for the town centre not only is it affordable but its also accessible to all that use this facility, it caters to everyones tastes. The staff are friendly and accommodating making a better experience than large chain businesses. The only let down are the toilets which need upgrading.

All for this

Wonderful facility for the town, give it and the people of the area the upgrade it very much deserves.

Uncomfortable seats and ticket desk appalling

The cinema is a great facility for young and old - everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The films are fantastic and we love going. We live 25mins away but like to support this cinema rather than the big chains

We have been to The Tower half a dozen times to see films since it opened and we really enjoy the convenience of not having to travel to Clydebank or Glasgow to see a film. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it's just a great facility to have in Helensburgh. I hope The Tower can be allocated funds from the Council to upgrade the toilets.

This is a fantastic local facility but the toilets badly need an upgrade

Love the fact that this is volunteer run by locals which provides real experience and training. It's been fantastic watching it grow and is a real asset to the town. Toilets are the only downside and new ones would really make a difference for the many visitors they bring to the town.

The tower is an excellent facility for Helensburgh it is affordable and convenient. The staff are friendly and accommodating making a better experience than large chain businesses. The only let down are the toilets which need upgrading.

I love visiting this wonderful place, staffed by fabulous locals and bringing such a wide variety of entertainment and culture to the town

The tower is a friendly and cosy little place that's really relaxing to view movies in. I absolutely love it here. However the toilet facilities do let it down a lot. Funding would go a long way to making this an even better asset to the town.

Deserves support, great local facility.

It is incredible that this fantastic facility has all been achieved by volunteers. I have been many times to see films and live screenings. New toilets are clearly needed though, the council should help this facility as it is amazing to have such a place in our small town and it brings visitors from other local towns - I know regular users from Arrochar and Balloch

Great local venue. Great to be able to see up to date movies. Silver surfers is great idea to get older people out. Price is excellent
